I've recently gotten a Wacom Intuos4 tablet, and I'm loving it, but there's one feature that I really wish it had.
I've got the pen's surface mapped one-to-one to the screen's surface (the normal setup). When I use the Wacom mouse, it maps to a much smaller surface and adds acceleration (just like a mouse should).
Now, I'm often in Photoshop, painting or erasing or something with the pen, then I need to run through several actions that take me all the way up to the top menu bar, then back to the layers panel, then over to the side tool bar, then back to channels, etc. I really wish there was a Expresskey action to make the pen act temporarily like the mouse, so I can make occasional much wider movements efficiently. What I want is the exact opposite of the "Precision mode" Expresskey.
I find myself needing the pen about 50% of the time, and needing the mouse 50% of the time, and it's a big pain to have to be constantly switching.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?
Thanks,
- David
