WTF HOW could they remake the bolded ones?! That's like trying to remake animal house. That makes me really mad

Are you serious!? This has GOT to stop. I am declaring a boycott right now. Refuse to watch these movies- they'll get the point. No more crappy remakes.

Although, I am looking forward to the new Kong movie.

I don't think that remakes are so bad. there are plenty of old films, that I would never watch, but I watch the remakes of them. the only important thing is that you do not have to know that it is a remake. ie: The Island

Predator? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Where did you hear this? I read the movie news everyday (Joblo, Comingsoon.net, etc) and I haven't heard about these supposed remakes in the works.

I can't believe the amount of "Third Gen" remakes. Pretty soon the only thing coming out to theatres will be a remake of last years crap which was a remake of the same movie the year before that and the year before that and the year before that and...

The remake of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari looks interessting. The original is one of my favorites, so I had to look into it.

"By using elements from an original 35mm print of the film, modern-day actors..."

That does sound interesting. The trailer looks good. A lot like the original -- but with sound.

Well if you check IMDB, Caligari is due for a remake. Counting the 2005 version, it has been made 4 times.

I have seen the 1920 and 1989 version (what a freak show that was). I would like to see the 1962 version and will probably check out the new one (on video).
