any recommendations on this appreciated. the sony i had finally went out on me. i used it alot when i did voiceovers. it worked great but sometimes i would have problems with pronouncing p.
any suggestions?

I don't know if this is the kind of handheld mic youre looking for, but take a look at an EV RE-50. It's an omni that is used a lot for interviews and is fairly resistant to both handling and wind noise.
