Rejected.

don't take no for an answer. if you did you'd probably end up on the street corner selling spicy hot dogs and wearing a funny hat.

Thats what i think too. but i figure i'll go for cinematography now. I was going fro Video instillation, but at least wit hcinematography, i'll get to use some 35mm equptment. leanr how to do it. ya know?

damn,

Look at it this way, when one door closes another one opens.

Anwyays when I spotted the title of the thread I thought you was rejected by some girl or something along that line :) , but yea rejection is rejection it hurts all the same.

Which school and which program were you trying to get in? I'm sure you have a 2nd choice school to go to if they offer a similar program.

When the Gods close a door, they open a window.

Take it from someone who's spent a lot of time jumping out of windows.

Go shoot! The last I heard, people still make movies without going to school, I know it's hard to believe, but it's true. Go shoot, earn some money!

I hope you applied to more then one. With a 5% or less acceptance ratio, your chances are always slim; always gotta have a backup.

You should try and get some 2nd AC work in the city. That'll get you some experience loading 35mm mags and you'll learn a lot from 1st AC's. I would offer to work for free to try and get a gig like that. I learned a ton on the 35 shoot I seconded.

Maybe by next year you won't need them. Not if you keep up this pace.
Obviously they missed something. DVX users can't all be wrong.
My (town) neighbour Avril Levigne never went to music school. And she's
rockin it. It is what it is. Schools suck anyways.
