Jeff Murton. Can't wait!
??? on what additional gear to bring besides HVX , powerbook, & LH1700? Trying to only pack carry-on. Should I bring tri-pod & zoom controller? Does venue have extension cords & power bar for the above - or do I need to pack these too?

You don't really have to bring anything; we thought with the first bootcamp that people would want to follow along on their own cameras, but in practicality most quit doing that about halfway through the first presentation.

If you want to bring gear to show off or share, that's fine -- but don't feel like you HAVE to bring stuff.

After Vegas, I am flying directly to another destination for a week, so I am glad to hear that the camera isn't really necessary (and I don't have to lug it around traveling). Looking forward to BC!!
