registering with imdb

[Deuceofspades]

I would like to register my film with imbd. After looking at their site for a long time I still can't figure out how to submit, and what the guidelines are.

Who can submit, how much does it cost and how does one go about submitting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It costs nothing, but if you don't have any third-party validation that your film exists then they won't accept it. If you can show that your film is for sale somewhere or is listed in the trade magazines (Hollywood Reporter, Daily Variety, etc) or can point out a review from someone like Ebert or Roeper, they'll accept those kinds of things as proof. But without third-party validation they won't take it.

Just go to their help section and look for info on "add title".
