Does anyone know if I can regenerate proxies from original media?
I didn't do a camera archive, and misguidedly in search of one missing media file, I did a "locate proxy command and copy to to folder" that's knocked out 12 proxies. I couldn't relink so I switched to original media but now I have a missing clip.
I'm an idiot, sorry. My errors:
I'm running out of space so I didn't copy my SD Card footage and store it.
Didn't do a camera archive. Moved a lot of Old Event and Projects off my portable drive to create space but FCP X is still referencing them.
I don't care about that as much now, I just want to know if its possible to regenerate proxy files without having the SD cards.
The one clip that's missing, luckily I can go re-shoot. Thanks for your help.
