Reformatting DVD Burner?

I have an External Sony DVD Burner. I work off of a PC and that's all that it's ever been used with, until today. I had to bring it in to school today to burn a project, however the project was on a Mac. I plugged my burner up, via USB, and the Mac didn't recognize it. Now, that I'm back home, I'm trying to reconnect my burner to my PC, and my PC doesn't recognize it. How can I get it to where Windows will recognize my burner again?

Have you tried reinstalling the software that came with the burner?

I'm rather miffed at Sony over my DVD burner too. I'll get a Panasonic soon, and no more Sony crap in my house. I realize that doesn't help you out though, so I'll give you a website that might- http://www.cdr-zone.com/

Heh, at first i read your post wrong and was like, whats wrong with nec, and unfortuatly i dont get any sort of commission, but i should with how many computers i sell.

I tell you what, it didn't take much. I am furious with the lack of support from Sony. It's like "We have your money already, so why should we care?" NEC on the other hand, has always worked out well for me. And at $29, it's a 1/4 of what I paid for that 8x Sony 2 years ago.
