Reflection: Shooting With Glass

Hi. I'm shooting some computer game developers and would like to get their reflection in the computer screen and/or the computer screen's reflection on their faces. I was thinking of doing this with glass or plexi-glass, but would a half-silvered mirror work better? Also, any ideas on the best mount? Hanging from the ceiling will not always be an option.

Thanks.

Using a flatscreen isn't going to do the trick

If using a flatscreen, superimpose the face ? Or for a similiar and more stylistic approach:

Project the image of the computer screen onto the talent's face for the shot

Re: on their faces

Thanks. Yes, shooting on their faces is part of the plan... I was wondering a little more about the method. Do you have any ideas about how best to do it? Glass/ mirror/ plexi? Or the mount?

Sprocket, I'm not quite understanding the shot you want to get. Do you want a shot from an angle, or a straight on shot? At an angle, you should be able to get a reflection without a problem as long as the faces are lit sufficiently. You can use a Polarizer to control the intensity of the reflections.

If you want something straight on, like this, you can just shoot straight at someone's face and then overlay the computer images in post.
