reel of live band footage

You have some nice shots and angles that work good for a demo reel. In my opinion, the music didn't support the visuals and didn't really match the intensity of the various bands. You did a good job with getting fairly clean video in spite of the low light environment. It was cut together pretty good also. Overall, pretty nice work.
 
I thought that the shots were great but they didn't match the song at all. The song and the visuals had different energies and vibes. I would try to look for some different music to use because as a whole I thought that the shots were pretty good.
 
I actually really like that song, but agree about its separation from the visual. Maybe editing it a bit tighter so sounds from the song emulate the beat more. Almost like making the bands look like they are actually playing that song. Of course we know they are playing different songs but I think if the illusion is created successfully it would gain respect through the editing skills. Also maybe go with dissolves or other lucid transitions. I think the cuts are not melding with the music's ambience, where dissolves and dips might flow with it better. Nice shots though, I love the under the drum shot.
 
Def. change the music. I dont mind the track - it doesnt suit the piece. Cut it back to two minutes, use faster cuts on beat to give it some coherence.
