Redrock support for LEX?

I'm the owner of a Sony EX1 and a Redrock M2 with the standard achromat. I tested it, but I want better edge-to-edge than this combo ever will deliver and I have no intention of upgrading to the Redrock HD achromat. I want to upgrade to the Letus Extreme. Now - do I need the original LEX rod supports or could I use the Redrock supports as well. Anyone having experience with this combo?

I had the M2 and the support rods. Now I use the RR rods and support with my Extreme but with the cavision support to make up the height difference for mattebox and follow focus. Here's my rig so you see how it goes together.

I know RR will be offering a riser for their 15mm support to go with the MicroX flip module, but who knows when it'll be widely available. With my setup I get another set of rods to hang accessories on.
