redrock nikon mount stuck

Got my Redrock m2 with a microx flip and a nikon mount setup for the first time. I put a variety of lenses on and they all have the same problem. The silver release switch is rediculously hard to push. You have to get your nail in there and push as hard as possible for it to release. does this just need to be warn? or do I have a problem. The adapter isnt even a day old.

I have never had a problem with mine... I got it second-hand but it always worked great. did you email Brian or Andrew? Or post at the redrock forum?

I have the pentax mount but I'm sure it's very similar as far as button style. I've noticed this on several other adapters (macro, brand to brand, etc.) as well... that they don't push in like the camera's release button. What I've found is that you need to pull the end of the tab (with your finger nail) away from the M2/camera while pushing the base of the tab towards it. That way it releases easily. It takes some practice and angling but once you have it down it feels normal.

Hopefully that helps.
