The Redrock MicroX flip module for the M2 35mm adapter is finally out!

Upright images, edge to edge sharpness, no vignetting & excellent build quality.

Here is my test chart with MicroX + M2 + PL mount + Zeiss 18mm Superspeed Cine Lens T1.3.

It was late & getting dark when I shot this chart so both the camera and lens were wide open on the aperture. The results still blew me away!

Pictures were extremely sharp edge to edge even when camera and lens iris were set at full open. Vignetting is also a thing of the past with wide angle lenses :).

Excellent build quality & results from the new MicroX unit. It was definately worth the wait! :lol:

I received mine 5 days after my order :).

Settings -

HVX Zoom : 92

HVX Focus : 83

HVX F-Stop : Wide Open

Zeiss 18mm Superspeed Cine Lens : T 1.3 (Wide Open)

Will post new image when I get the chance to shoot in better light. :beer:

I was looking into getting that because my Swift monitor has been a pain. Thanks for the review.
 
Is this an RGB image? I loaded it into AE, and I can't see any difference in the channels, and there should be, especially noise wise.... This looks like a desaturated, isolated channel of some sort.
