Redrock Micro

I have one. Love it. Can't speak to the alternatives (Letus, G35, etc.) since I could only afford one. :) Since I live not to far from where the M2 is made, I was able to see one and talk to the guys before buying, which really swayed me. Finding the time to actually use it has proven more of a challenge than anything else. Stupid gainful employment.

I have had one of the redrock units for a couple of weeks. I use the nikon lens mount. I'm mainly using a 50 1.4, 28 2.8, 60 macro 2.8.
Right out of the box it seems pretty high quality. I got some nice footage, but I have had some difficulties achieving consistent sharpness in the sharp areas.
The user group seems great, and the redrock people seem very dedicated to getting the kinks worked out, so I have high hopes of getting it working perfectly. Basically I figure there is no other way to get "the short DOF look" without having one of these adapters, and the price is very reasonable.

hey wow thats a big uh... range there eh? whats the like average ya think, i found a lens that my uncle gave me, its says Konica Hexanon AR 40mm F1.8 then at the top it says 40/1.8 which i assume is the 40mm and the f1.8.

so is that lens compatable with this thing lol?
