Redrock Micro and Sony V1 Problem

I've just tried to setup an M2 adaptor with a Sony V1, but cant find a way to get the screen to be the right way round.

I have tried taking the cover off the LCD joint and manually pressing the flip button, but this only gives me an image that is the right way up, with left and right reversed.

If anyone has any ideas or experience to how i can adapt the LCD to give me an image the right way up would be great

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike

I responded to your email as well. I'm 100% not sure what the issue is. Is it possible to post a picture?

The LCD itself will only invert top-to-bottom. You can use a mirror or other optino (such as on-camera monitor) to get it 100% correctly inverted. It's not something specific to the Redrock.

Hope that helps (at least some :) )

I think he doesn't know that the M2 like many other adapters on the market flips and flops the image .

It is perfectly normal to see the image upside down and flop side ways .

That is why a lot of people use an external monitors mounted upside down. Some monitiors have flip and flop function. But the recorded image are still flipped and flopped. You need to do this in Post. or turn your camera upside down. but you still need to flop the image in post.
