Redrock M2 Release and Shipping?

cheers,

was just wondering if anyone knows when this neat thing is coming out. i put myself into preorder and got mail that it'll be shipping in Decembre. Well...

I got my order in November 11...seems like it would be months before I get it..most likely when the WGA strikes ends sometime next year. So lay back and wait because that is what everyone else is doing.

dunno, but i think ittl be around 300-800. im not the suppliere im just another guy that is waiting for it to be shipped :)

So a bunch of people preordered without knowing the final price?
Is it just a reservation list then?

I assume you didn't have to pay anything to get on the 'preorder' list?
 
The target price is supposed to be $500 as for a lot of future Redrock products as well. The appeal of this design is the "swing away" option and the option to add as many filter stages as you want (although 100 filters just doesn't seem efficient). I am unsure as to the timing, but good things come to those who wait.
 
No you didn't have to pay anything. The first 50 people on the list were contacted and had to make a "down payment" (i believe). I think the idea is to release the first 50 and then the rest shortly thereafter.
 
Gotcha - and for the record - didn't want to come off like I was knocking this thing - I've been looking forward to its release as well. Seems like it'll be a solid product.
I just couldn't have understood people putting down money without knowing the price in the end.

When you're talking about RED, that's one thing....

thats right, none of us payed anything. but none of us got anything yet but a message that said - w8 for us to contact you. im loosing interest somehow. im thinking of buying the petroff one.
so dear redrock team please publish the box! :)
