Guys this is my first post, so please forgive me if I'm making any mistakes here..
It pisses me off that redrock micro has not made any fast ground glass in a very long time, so last night I took matters into my own hands. With a dremel, cd case, and steel file I machined a piece of plastic to replace the ground glass in my redrock m2. I'm glad to say it was, in borat's words, "great success." I gained about 3 quarter stops (estimated.) As you can imagine, DOF was sliced and diced, so don't expect to be impressed with medium lenses. This application would work best in a low light, wide angle, slow lens, combination. I haven't shot anything yet with it, sorry to tease. I'm going to try to shoot some charts this weekend to compare if i get a chance.. Stay tuned. -steve.
