Redrock M2 Encore Test Footage

Wow looks really good, now I just gotta decide between the Redrock and the SGblade. Sgblade i would say looks just as good, as is a wee cheaper! Decisions decisions!

looks great. what camera was this shot with? also curious about which lenses you used. thanks

WOW ! Sony Z5 footage looks AMAZING , it looks so filmic ,it looks like a hollywood film ,what were your settings for shutter and framerate ,do you remember ? I dont think you took a note about settings but this definitely look super awesome, unbelievable ,ill go watch next ones.

I was just wondering what was going on with the vignetting on the xh-a1 airplane footage? He mentionen on the vimeo page that the infinity focus was not set straight, but nothing about the vignetting, which i think is quite apparent.

The iamge is uniform exept the very corners, I bet thats because the camera wasnt entirely zoomed in at the recommended zoom. ( pritty sure )

Yeah, that would be my guess too. I was just curious since it was the first a1+encore footage i had seen :)

Hi bwwd

Any shutter rates, f stops are noted in the clip itself. Other than that the settings were pretty stock, shot at 1080 24p.

Well "any shutter rates" ? So you dont remember... this is so far most filmic video ive seen from adapter ,when woman moves her head and you see those earclips swinging then it looks so filmic its amazing just like straight from film rented on DVD.Motion blur takes a huge role in this so thats why i asking about shutter , i experimenting myself with shutter speeds and in many adapter footages some frames have too much motion blur and it looks muddy like soap opera with less frames. Its ugly. But this vid you posted is just mazing i keep it on my HDD,i was wondering did you used extended clear scan or something before you shoot.

lol - sorry I should have stated that differently. What I meant to convey is that any special shutter rates are noted in the text in the sample footage. Otherwise it is standard 1/48 at 24p.

It was really a very simple shoot. We set up the steadicam and we just shot. I ran around with a couple of lenses, we'd shoot, stop, I'd swap the lens and check the focus, and then shoot again. Nothing fancy
