I'm a nob so pardon my ignorance as I've only recently gotten into filmmaking.
I have a Redrock M2 set up and while I'm becoming increasingly aware that it's not the ideal DOF adapter to use, I don't see myself changing set ups anytime soon due to monetary restraints.
I do have a Canon FD Mount, Minolta Mount and Nikon Mount for my M2 and now I'm wondering which lens mount would be the ideal to use. I was going to go with the Canon as I have quite a few FD lenses from my old Canon AL-1 35 mm camera (circa 1983) but I recently got a Nikor lense and it looks like you can adjust the iris directly on the lens. With light lose being issue, what's the ideal lens mount to use? BTW I never looked at a Minolta so I'm completely ignorant of those lenses too.
