Redrock advice needed

I am looking @ purchasing the Redrock micro kit (72mm achromat and Nikon lens adaptor)

Nikon 50mm f/1.8 d lens

Nikon 28mm f2.8 wide angle lens

It is a used package and the guy wants 600 obo. This is the redrock micro not M2. I am only familiar with the letus adapters. I could use some advice on whether or not this is a good deal. Is it old and dated? I figure with the two lenses it can't be too bad of a deal. What is the major diff if any from the M2?
 
I have no experience with the older redrock, but have an M2......I'm still unhappy with mine from time to time, and constantly have wishes for the upgrade to the M2e.

I would save my cash if I were you and wait to atleast purchase an M2.....because with the M2 you not only have a pretty good adapter, but you have the upgrade path to the M2e.

Also keep in mind that with a redrock adapter you need a rail support system and I would also suggest a hard mount kit.
