Red Rushes and FCP

When I view Red Rush converted to Apple Pro Res the color and contrast appears darker when the play head is parked. When I play the footage the contrast is much lighter.

Has anyone seen this? Any explanations or insight would be appreciated. This makes color correction difficult.
 
Not sure if it's exactly what you're experiencing but I had a similar problem with 7d footage. The clip looked great in the viewer but slightly darker once I put it on the timeline. I rendered it and exported it and the final .mov looks like it should. My recommendation is to just export it and see if the problem goes away. This is not going to help you if you're planning to do color correction however.
 
My issue is different. When the playhead is parked the video is fine when it plays it looks completely different. And the clip is rendered.
