Hi Guys
I'm at a film school in Australia and for our end of year projects we have to shoot on an Ikegami Beta SP camera (I know it sux but thats the way the schools equipped and I've been through all the pros and cons with my lecturer...)
I've been shooting a lot with the Red Rock Micro on a DVX200 lately and I was wondering if there was a way that you could fix this adapter to a Beta SP camera, maybe straight on the front of the Beta lens with a macro adapter? Not very keen to shoot with the extended depth of field of a Beta SP ENG lens which is designed to keep everything in focus even at the largest aperture. Any had any experience with 35mm lenses on a Beta SP? My other option is the P+S Technik but the cost of that will probably kill our production, also I hear the backfocus on the Ikegami has to be set to accomodate the P+S.
Any help appreciated I dont want to shoot something that looks like news footage!
