Red render bar in multicam (CS4)

When I nest a sequence and enable the multicam mode, I get a red render bar on my timeline, even though I don't have any effects applied. I am using Premiere Pro Cs4. I never had this problem in cs3.

How can I avoid to render my whole timeline before using the multicam feature in Ppro cs4?

Did you ever figure this out? I have been having this same issue ever since upgrading to CS4. I never had this problem with CS3. It is very annnoying. Has anyone figured out a solution?

I'm editing a three camera multi-cam timeline at the moment. I see the red bar but I haven't had to render it to play it back and cut with it. It's a 720p 30p timeline.
