red movie theatre curtain opening in after effects

Can anyone lead me to a tutorial where I can create that red curtain movie theatre opening in after effects? I've been searching around and can't seem to find one. Thanks!

I did a pretty dodgy one once, it's right at the start of this video:

I made it in After Effects and I think, if I remember correctly, I just drew the curtain pieces in Flash and used some kind of distortion to make them move in AfterEffects. It's a pretty basic attempt. How realistic do you want yours to be? You might be able to find some stock footage with a greenscreen behind a real curtain if you want it to look real.

I remember having seen some tutorials for creating a theater curtain, try searching for it again, they are out there

Make your curtains in photoshop and use the puppet tool to animate them opening. There are a few tutorials online showing this technique
