Red - Genesis on Vegas Pro 9?

[New_Zealand]

I might shoot a short film with either the Red or Genesis and was wondering if I would still be able to edit on Vegas?

RED yes. Vegas loves RED. Not sure about the Genesis

Thanks

I know Vegas won't handle the Panalog format from the Genesis, but you should be able to extract either image sequences in DPX that Vegas will understand, or you should be able to do proxy files which you can cut in Vegas. It's only 1080p, nothing exotic like the RED.
