New here but this forum has been a huge resource in the past so thank you.
I received some footage to edit that was shot on the RED Epic. Pretty much all shot at 90fps.
1. I exported ProRes 422 1920x1080 clips from Redcine-X to the same size sequence in FCP and
there's a black bar on the top and bottom of the frame, almost like it's actually a little smaller
than 1920x1080. Anyone have any idea why?..
2. If I try to speed up any of the footage in the timeline which is 23.98, it has a fair bit of aliasing or "ghosting".
Not when played back at normal speed. Was the shutter speed not fast enough or is it something I'm doing wrong?
