Hello, I am editing Red clips in a 1080 sequence. Final destination is DVD

Do I have to render the work area? now I have the red line and working with previews. am I downscaling doing this?

To create DVD with maximun possible quality. Do I have to export in some particular format, g to encode and then encore? like you do in FC with compressor and DVDSP. or I just have to export a DVD MPEG-2 file?

Best regards

Edit in a sequence matching your media.

You do not have to render before export.

Choose an MPEG2-DVD preset and select Scale to Fit in the Export settings. (CS6 only)

I already dis all the editing in the 1080 sequence. I am new to premiere, how can I copy the clips in the sequence time line and open it in a new one at 4K to match the media? This is very simple in final cut, but I cant find the way to up and paste clips in CS6

Best regards

You can drag one clip with 4K to a icon with a note turn the page - near the Project Browser - it will create a timeline with perfect match. Or you can create a new timeline using the presets for 4K resolutions manually.
