Hey Everyone,

If you have haven't already heard of the RED Digital 4K Camera than listen up. You can see cool, real world test footage on www.vuze.com under the GibCor Channel of RED content in 1080p and 720p. I worked as a 1st AC / Digital Acquisition Specialist getting the chance to learn the camera's inner-workings as well as a chance to learn the data-centric RAW work-flow. A friend recommended I share this with fellow filmmakers online, who haven't been able to see some great footage or side by side, RAW vs Graded comparisons.

disclaimer: This was shot in December with 4 beta REDs and one Red Prototype called "Hollywood" so some issue are no longer present in current builds.

LART was a 2 day event in LA to test the BETA RED Digital 4K Cameras in a variety of different and real world environments and situations. It was intended to give valuable feedback to RED and help them further develop the cameras. It was a pretty crazy shoot so yes there is some out of focus shots and camera issues but overall the stuff looks amazing!

Edited at Vuze and On Set.
Graded at Plaster City on a Scratch in 4k

I'm surprised there hasn't been any comments? Anyways were rolling out with our Night Time Fire Dancers and LA Model clips later this week....

I don't know about anybody else, but I can't download the clips. All I get is what appears to be a java executable. Perhaps it's because I'm using Firefox?
 
its a torrent... you need to download a torrent program like azureus... its like p2p network...
 
Torrent? Come on. A quicktime file would have been much easier. Guess I won't get to see it. I have no interest in installing bit torrent software.

Good call, we brought in the g-string models for some promo videos and our YouTube hits mysteriously shot through the roof :)

The US Single Server (youtube,veoh etc) download average is 72kps. Average Bit-Torrent download rate is 190kps. There is a reason why I choose a direct download on Vuze, FOR THE SPEED.

If you had take the timeyou'd see the file is a Quicktime lossless H.264, but I understand different strokes for different folks.

1. download the vuze client
2.click on the gibcor content download button or magnetlink
3. Open the QT folder in your desktop

easy as 1,2,3.

click on the download tab on the Vuze website. You'll see what I mean, then open the client and go to the gibcor channel,then click on the fight scene or comparison. Now Your set up. If anyone else has RED footage they want to post click on the publish button.
