Recording Live with Audition

[n1c02]

I am wondering what you guys think about this or the quality of using it..

Running out of the mic into a mixer and from that going to both xlr's of the DVX100a and along with that going into my laptop running Audition..

I know alot of you use field recorders like the H4n but would this give me a good audio doing it this way?

Thanks
Terry

that depends on your soundcard, usually onboard card in laptop performs "ok". but try using dedicated sound card or recording device like H4N.
