Recording groups in seminars

I need some thoughts on this:
the guy holding the seminar will get a wireless lav, for the audience/group (12-20) people, I was thinking of a) hanging omnis from the cieling overhead b) pointing cardioids/hpers from the front in direction towards the group c) maybe using boundarys...?

Booming or handing out a handheld wireless is not an option.
The two cameras will probably always stay on the speaker, I only need to make sure questions are recorded (more or less) properly, so you can make sense of the answer...

Anything?
I´d prefer the most cost effective solution of course:beer:...

if it quiet space , no reverb 2 in front and 1 or 2 from the celling ( cards /omnis) would work , if it reverb space - the same :-)

The standard way to do this is to hand out a wireless hand mic or 2 (having 1-2 people with them waiting to pass them out and pick them up is good).

The other option is to have 1-2 mic stands set up and ask for the audience to go up to the stand to ask questions.

In any case, the presenter should repeat the audience's question (and they always forget).

@Mike
the client and the speaker don´t want to interupt the "flow" of the semiar too much through the filming (the "audience", as stated small groups, pays for this and should not be "hazzled"...)
So no standing up and no handing around a mic...
They want me to be invisible...:cool: As long as they pay...

@Oleg
So my MBHO cardioid and my 416 from the front and one MKE2 omni on the G2 from the cieling could do the job...?
No need to buy new mics would be great :thumbsup:...

Thank you both!

mke2 - lavalier dont work good without serface
also it quit depends how tight people sit in the room
hang down something normal for that job

dont know , probably better
or you can put pzm on plexi galss on wire
or you can buy 2 chiniz for the same price and cover bigger aria :-)
