Recording blue yeti with USB into a recorder with no computer?

I currently have a small office room which i also use as my video studio. I am getting a bigger room for filming and to record my voice overs but have to edit across the building in a cubicle. I was wondering if there was a good audio recorder that took USB inputs so I could plug my Blue Yeti mic into it without having to use a computer. I don't want to lose quality either

I don't know of any portable audio recorders that take a USB input from a USB mic. Most of the USB ports on portable recorders are for external storage or for firmware upgrades...and some even use that for external power now.

I know you can use a USB microphone to record on something like an iPad into Garage Band, but I've never done it so I couldn't say how well that works. If you want to use a stand alone recorder, like a DR-70D or 633 then you'd need an XLR microphone. If you like Blue microphones, and want something that won't break the bank, then the Blue Spark is a good choice. I have one and I like it. I plug it into my USB audio interface so I can go directly into my computer, or I can plug it into a dedicated audio recorder if I want.

yea i actually use the blue spark into an h4n at home and the blue yeti into my computer here at work. I dont want to have to buy another blue spark since i think the blue yeti is just as good if not better. was hoping to have the same mic to recorder option but didnt know if there was a tascam or zoom that accepted the USB plug in. No usb adapter to xlr or something else?

Since the USB is already a digitized signal you don't really want to toss a D/A converter jut to run it through a A/D converter in the recorder. If it exists what you want is a USB to S/PDIF and a recorder that can take a S/PDIF input. That would be a weird beast though. By the time you finish adapting and converting etc. you may well spend more than the price of the Spark.

thanks for the info. Our company has an extra computer I can use So i am putting that in the studio, i normally record my voice overs into adobe premiere because of its ease of use. Instead of buying another copy of premiere, what would be a good simple audio program for windows to record voice overs? And anyone have cool DIY little audio booth solutions?
