Hello, just wondering what is the right thing to do before I start my documentary. We will be filming outdoors and do not want to use lavaliers for our subjects. I just want to use my NTG-2 shotgun mic connected to the DVX but my friend suggested we record seperately to his MZ-M100 portable recorder connected to the shotgun mic and boom. Which would be better?
