i do alot of interviews with a green screen. close ups and med shots. is the octava on a mic stand a good solution? wireless? a tin can on a string?

depends on your acoustics situation , usually with good one you will get better results then lavaliere , the mike could be in frame for closest placement

Something tells me you're asking for trouble with that one

nah it's just i though the point of the greenscreen was so you don't have to dick around cleaning up backgrounds.

do you know what is wipe ?:-)

yes, it's what I often forget to do when using the toilet, especially if I have a hot date later that night.

actually I can't do any of the skills people talk about on this board. but i have people that can, it's my job to figure out what's possible and doable and then delegate. so that's why my questions are so stupid--it's because i'm stupid. but lucky for me, i've got all these smart people that work under me and even smarter people that inhabit these boards. i'm one of those guys who stands on other people's shoulders and then takes all the credit.
