guys, how can i record footage in fcp with the camera...........
I wanna to record stuff that I edited in fpc back to tape and put it in diff editor system...
 
why not just transfer the project and media files with a mobile hard drive?
but to do what your looking for just connect your camera, go to FILE then PRINT TO VIDEO and that will export your timeline or in-out points to a mini dv tape

A simple path is mac > firewire > camera or deck > rca cables > tv

Then start up your camera and tv, then open fcp.

Then go View > External video > all frames
Video playback should be Apple firewire NTSC (If you are using an NTSC set)
Audio playback should be Audio follows Video

Techinially, this should send synched video to your TV

Then press record on the camera, and play in FCP.

Dude...this is a BASIC function. Tutorial time.
