Recommended Hard Drives for Mac Pro?

[wrlds_apart]

Just got a mac pro and am installing more ram and HD's. Just wondering if anyone has some recommendations for internal HD setup and a good store to get them from!

Thanks!

i've installed 2 SATA seagate barracudas that have worked great thus far

i would either use seagate or Western Digital. Apple use both hard drives. (usually which ever one they can get the cheapest)

They are easy as pie to install.

My MacPro has the following SATA drive setup (all Seagate drives)…

A_Drive = 250GB drive for system and applications
B_Drive = 500GB drive for project files, graphics and non-media elements
C_Drive = Two 750GB drives striped RAID 1 for media storage

Works for me!

I like the SeaGates, macsales.com is where I buy all of my macpro stuff, great guys over there, and quite reasonable.
