Recommended After Effects Plugins

[firehawk]

Hi,
I don't have specific needs just yet, but I am wanting to expand my After Effects Aresenal while I am still a student if I can save some money. What plugins have you used and/or recommend? I currently have Boris Continuum Complete 5 and Red 4.2 and have use a PC with After Effects 7 and a Mac with CS4.

My essentials are the Trapcode suite, RealSmart Motion Blur, and Frishluft Lenscare. Some that I'm interested in and would probably deem essential but don't own them yet are Knoll Light Factory, Radium Glow, and Frishluft's new Curves plug-in. It really depends on your needs though.

My two Favorites are definitely The Trapcode Suite (Or just Particular if you can't afford the suite) and Magic Bullet.

It really depends on what you need though.

You forgot Knoll Unmult you MONKEY!!!!

Plus, it's free.

Saphire has some very nice filters, a better type of Shine, and a killer little seldom talked about filter called Detect Motion.

Yeah, I didn't list the free ones since he's trying to save money as a student.
