I want to buy a complete Letus35 with follow focus, rail and mattebox set. I'm thinking to get Letus35 FE with indifocus gear, 10" indirail with 4x5.6 canvision mattebox. Any suggestions??? THanks.

Don't, I talk to the Letus35 guys and they told me the best for the HVX would be the Brevis or the 35mini

Are you saying that Quyen told you not to buy a Letus for the HVX200?! I must be misunerstanding something here because the Letus produces great results with the HVX200 (and right side up too). I just recieved my Letus Flip Enhanced yesterday. I also bought the Hyson Films base plate with rods and the HD Matte Box. www.hysonfilms.com

You'll want longer rods than 10" though. I think that with the Letus, lens and matte box you'll want no less than 18" rods.

My setup is
- Letus35 Flip Encanced
- 3 Nikon prime lenses (i recommend f1.4 or even f1.2)
- Cavision rod support
- LONGER RODS if you want to use a matte box
-Cavision lens support X 2: one stops the Letus against the camera, 1 to hold the matte box
- Matte Box (i found 1 in Ebay from indian seller for just 160$, it's not too sturdy but has a great look)
- Indislider, to make small dolly movies without needing 2 assistants and 1 hour setting

Here some pics (indislider was not yet arrived)

I'm now purchasing the HVX200 obviously... ;)

Letus might produce great results, but Brevis produces best results. That's what gonzoish79 was trying to say. And I agree, I've owned two Letus units and neither have rivaled the build or image quality of the Brevis.

Which Letus did you own?
