Recommendations for short-run DVD-5?

Hey folks,

So, my little nonprofit film's about ready for DVD... I've done the authoring in Adobe Encore... Everything's just about set...

The question is: where do i go to dupe/rep the DVD? On one hand, I'm not planning selling very many, so I'd probably want a run of about 100, which generally means DVD-R duplicating. On the other hand, if I'm going to make them, I'd rather them be on a media that's a little more... permanent(?) than DVD-R, which suggests DVD-5 replicating. But, those generally require a minimum order of 500 or so... :(

Any suggestions? (Anybody know any companies that will do DVD-5 replication runs of less than 500?)

never found a company do do runs of less than 500, usually minimum is 1000. If you want DVD duplication, i can do it for you, we do printable discs, in full color. PM me for prices.

There are a number of replicators in Southern California that will do 500 piece runs, but at this low of quantity, do expect to pay for glass masters. It is often lower in costs (total costs) to run 1000 and get the glass fee waived.
