Recommendations for Glidecam Camcrane

Hey, I have a few questions, looked around to see if I could find any simple answers but didn't quite have much luck.

I'm looking into getting a Glidecam Camcrane 200, from what I understand it does not come with a tripod. (on BH Photo) I was wondering what you guys would recommend for me to get? I don't have too much knowledge on these types of accessories so all help would be appreciated. I'm just looking for the best options/combinations available (crane/tripod/anything else). Thanks

EDIT: I am not necessarily hooked on the "Glidecam Camcrane". I have found some alternative jibs that seem more appealing (http://www.bargain-camera.com/store/product.php?productid=16277&cat=275&page=1), just curious as to what others have used?

I purchased a Bargain-Camera Crane (the 12 foot version with stand), and absolutley love it. They have been fantastic to deal with, very helpful and have always responded to my questions. I would recommend though that if you have a camera on the heavier end (say 6 to 8 pounds), it is worth investing in the newer bearing insert upgrade they offer.

Now, I'm no pro,.. my uses are strictly low budget, casual, recreational stuff. Someone with professional experience might have differnt needs than I do, but for me, I love the crane!

Thanks for the advice, I actually just bought the Turn-key ProAm Camera Crane Package from Bargain-Camera. Pretty expensive but seems well worth it. I'm excited to get it and start filming, hoping to do some freelance work in the real estate advertising industry.

I am not quite sure what to expect, it is the 8-foot version. Maybe once I start filming and have a little more money I will the get 4-foot extension if necessary. Didn't think about the bearing insert upgrade, I have a DVX100a so I'm guessing I should be fine for now. I'd love to see any footage you might have from using the crane!
