Hello! I've been working in a cramped room for my "studio" for quite a while. I was finally able to get into a bigger room in our building, but I'm still stuck fighting a low drop-ceiling. I'm mostly shooting video against different backdrops, a greenscreen being the one I use the most.
I've been using a cheap utility light with a CFL bulb clamped to the ceiling for a hair light, but it doesn't have much control. I thought that putting one of my extra softboxes in the ceiling would be a good idea (it fits ok in place of one of the tiles), but I've got WAY to much light spill when shooting on my black backdrop, and I'm getting some light in my lens as well.
Currently, all might lights are big 5 bulb CFL softboxes. What would be a good alternative light to use? I don't have anything with barn doors.
I'm on a pretty tight budget, but appreciate any suggestions.
L!
