Recommendations for Accessories

I just purchased the 100b and am looking at recommendations for accessories to go along with it. I am on an extremely small budget and will be buying as funds come in (I work for a non-profit Christian ministry.) I will be filming both in the US but also in Latin American countries. So, I need to know good option for accessories that I should buy, not just the most expensive. Most of my filming will be testimonies and documentaries.

Besides what is list below, what else should I look at? All recommendation and links to products would be greatly appreciated. I have already purchased 2 batteries from DVXUsers.

light kit
on camera light
wireless mic
shot gun mic
matte box w/filter holder

Not sure about the light kit but for an on camera light I'd probably look at the Paglight C6.

I think that a mattebox is kind of a poinless accesorry except that it really makes the camera look more professional and holds 3x3 and 4x4 filters. I havent read much about this one but you might want to look at the Century Optics DV Matte box or a cheaper alternative would be the Cinetactics Matteblox. I just posted it in another thread too but you should defidently get a UV filter for your DVX to protect the lens. Tiffen, Hoya, B+W are great brands to choose.

For shotgun mics check out this thread here.

I'm in the same (ministry work) with a lot of the same type settings (sit down interviews, and docu type stuff). Unless you plan to invest in a bunch of 3x3 or 4x4 filters, the matte box is a lot of added expense for not much really. A nice set of various pro mist, warm soft FX, ND, etc screw on filters work well for those on a budget and don't cost much. Some light bounce cards and reflectors are always handy for location interview stuff. We use a 5 pt Arri light kit that works really well, all the rest is done with creativity :)

Personally I like to move the camera a lot, so a merlin or a home built dolly would be worth a look.

The Rode NTG-2 in an excellent shotgun microphone, and can be purchased for around 220 on EBAY. I love the sound it produces for a relatively inexpensive microphone.
I also use the Pag C6 camera light and have achieved excellent results with it. I picked up the Pag light for 240 used, from EBAY. Not bad choices on a budget.

the second link/page has a link for a sample clip, has a lot of 100A and varicam footage

Thanks for the link. Crown is a GREAT ministry. We use their material both for our family and our ministry. We are a new ministry, only operating for a year and a half. I have been with them since Feb 1. I have been added to the staff to grow the ministry. One way I would like to do it is through media.
