Glad you got your 'puter settled. I remember back in the golden days of DV NLE, capturing to a state-of-the-art (and damn expensive) PII-266 w. SCSI drives, and PRAYING that it wouldn't drop more than a few frames in a row.
Yesterday I dumped 10 tapes into Vegas while listening to Winamp and surfing the web, with not a single dropped frame. It's cool to already be in the future.
