Recommend a wrist brace?

it's finally happening. after just a few years of working as an editor, i'm starting to develop pain in my right wrist as a result of daily trackball use. :crybaby:

does anyone here use a brace to counteract these problems? are they effective?

and can you recommend one?

EDIT: what a missed opportunity, should have titled this thread, "Brace Yourself!" :)

My writs are screwed from skateboarding and stairs.

Sometimes I throw on a pair of weightlifting gloves that are made in germany. They have a neoprene wrist support that is velco adjustable.

When I wear them I look like a complete moron and am an open target for harassment but they stop my wrists from aching.

i found braces make things worse, the best is proper computer posture and I discovered "IMAK" ergoBeads they are like little bean bags with a U cut out to help keep your wrist level with your arm, they have them at MicroCenter/CompUSA... but the main thing is keeping your arm level with your wrist so it isnt bent.
