Recommend a light

Can someone recommend a mountable light with diffuser?
I can’t seem to find any info on lights anywhere.
Someone did recommend the PAG C6 Paglight to me,
so if anyone knows if this one is worth it please let me know.

Here is a link to the Paglight:

Is this too much to be spending on a light?

Also can anyone recommend a good shotgun mic, and a good place to buy one?
And one last question, any reviews on self supporting monopods?
Thanks in advance for any advice…
Jason

Re: Recommend a light

Hi Zeman,
I can personally vouch for the light as an owner. :) It the most complete kit you can get for the money. Lightweight, cool to the touch, and spots from flood.

Self standing monopod (the legs hide in the body):

Here is a test of the ME-66 and the AT-897 shotgun mics, the two most popular mics being sold right now:

Re: Recommend a light

Does anyone know how the monopod Rush lists above would stack-up against a flowpod in terms of usability? I'm new to event videography and was looking to get the flowpod because I don't want to be strapped to all that other equipment(think DVRigPro). But every time I start to order it, I just have to hesitate and think... $370 for a heavy monopod?!

Anyway, if anyone has any advice to offer, please speak up and ease my tormented brain.

Thanks much,
Chico
