Recent 'Update' requesting serial again!?

So, I went to look at some footage tonight, and all my pro apps are asking me for my registration info and serial number again... huh?

The last thing I did yesterday was run software update, and the only update was some kind of 'pro apps update', as far as I can remember - not sure how to check in my log for what exactly the update was called. So I can only assume that this is what caused it.

Anyway, is anyone else experiencing this? I'm going to have to dig out my box somewhere now... what a pain!
 
In Apple-speak, pro apps are the Final Cut Studio suite, Aperture and Logic Pro (may be the odd other one too). They occasionally update some shared resources and just call it Pro Apps
 
I usually keep a scan of my reg info in a PDF in the docs or applications folder ready to rock.

Interesting. This has never happened to me through multiple updates to all components of FCS 1 and 2 over several years, five different computers/laptops, three major OS versions (10.3,4, and 5), plus incremental OS updates. Never happened in systems I installed for two different clients either.
