I watched [rec] last night and really enjoyed it. This zombie film is about a television reporter and a cameraman who join up with a fire department to film their night. It is filmed like Blair Witch and is very shaky and blurry at times. Highly recommended to zombie lovers and those who like the Blair Witch handcam style.

They are planning a North American remake called Quarantine starring Jennifer Carpenter (The Exorcism of Emily Rose), which should be out this Halloween.

i just watched it online.

that movie is absolutely horrifying.

Nice, you enjoyed it. I have been telling all of my zombie loving friends about it.

How would you say it compares to other zombie films?

OFF TOPIC: For people who are really into the zombie genre, check out the novel World War Z, which will be made into a movie later this year.

on pure edge of your seat horror factor i would argue it was the scariest film ive ever seen.

its haunting too.

some might argue it was too shaky etc. but i just thought it added to the tension.

Bump for this movie I just watched the making of this movie and I think they use either a DVX100 or a HVX. Yeah the movie was really good had me on the edge of my seat, the last ten minutes of the movie really spook you out.

I'll check it out but as a note, supposedly 'scary children' are on my top 5 overused-things-that-irritate-the-crap-out-of-me list.

I bought the region 2 import and saw the behind the scenes and making of. Looks like they shot it with the hvx mounted on a fig rig! Sweet!
