Rec.709 preset needed? / Calibration alternatives / Mobile Laptops Dell & HP vs Toshi

What do you guys think of the year old Toshiba Satellite P50T? Has a 4K display, but more importantly a ''certified'' Technicolor Rec.709 preset. Of course it's a preset... I am hesitant on purchasing this system for the simple fact that it's not available in Nvidia spec and I prefer CUDA. Are Dell and HP better?

You could always calibrate it using e.g. spyder or x-rite, but for me not having CUDA would really be a deal-breaker (as far as Adobe CC goes). Ditto 3d programs (VRAY etc)...frankly even my 27" 4k ips monitor is a bit too small for 4k....wouldn't it be enough with 1440p or thereabouts? Don't know if a laptop can even push around that many pixels properly (I had one of the first gigantic sli laptops, 20"! and all of 1366x720...these days if I could afford a decent laptop I would go for something with good battery life, 2k screen and use teamviewer or something similar to my workstation for heavy lifting)...
