Rebate problems!!

Ok so Jan said to do my rebate online . I get a confirmation number and the first thing it says is "they got the request but the check hasn't been wrote yet. ( I should only get the free stuff Barry's book etc) Now the online status says "Please enter a valid serial number" It better be valid!!! All the forms came with the camera. I bought from EVS.

I call the panny rebate desk,,,,just a recording to leave info and they will call back.

So do they call back?

I was going to fill out the form and send it in but that might really mess things up....I need Barry's book!!!


anything I can do? I know some of you have been through the Panny rebate problems
 
It's well documented here that panny rebates take forever- i'm heading towards 4 months now.

I had left a couple of messages and they did in fact call me back.

i don't know if this will help or not, but when i initially tried to get the rebate it said something about entering a valid serial number. so i went onto panasonic's website and registered my camcorder. the next day i applied for the rebate and it went through. i think it took about 8 weeks or so for them to send it out.
