Rebate on DVX100a , from EVS

Hey, I bought the DVX100a from EVS, in feb, and About a month and a half ago to two months ago I applied for the rebate online, it said it was a $300 rebate on the EVS site,

I havent heard anything, from email or regular mail? whats up any one know what I could do?

Also I read a post that Barry wrote saying that panasonic had a $500 rebate?

And also why should I have to *Apply* for a rebate that I am supposed to get for buying the camera, doesnt apply mean they have the right to dissaprove my application for the money I was promised on the web page?
 
My check took 8 weeks. You can check status on the Panny website.

Rebate always require an application in America. Some you have to mail in, at least Panny lets you do it on-line. And they have to wait until they are sure it is not going to be returned, before sending you the check.

Now don't get me started on the battery and tapes, which I am still waiting for four months later.
 
Hi Vampiar, yes, galt is correct, it has taken some people eight to 10 weeks to get their rebate check, but they always get them. It used to be a $300 rebate, but a couple of weeks ago, it was increased to a $500 rebate. That is only for new purchases. You would still get a $300 rebate. As far as the freebies, believe me we are all praying on those.
