Reaper - Funny Show

Has anyone seen the show? I recommend it very much. I saw the pilot (directed by Kevin Smith) and I absolutely loved it. I fell in love with the cast and story. It's fun and silly and a mix of a few shows.

Then the CW changed stations and my basic cable in my area no longer holds it. #%$#

So I found the 2nd episode online and was wondering how it would do without Kevin Smith, and it's as strong as the first one. I love this show and I want more.

I knew I was missing something while the cable was out. I liked the first one, but I'm not sure how it will hold up. I could really see it getting repetitive and lose it's appeal. Did Smith do the second show too?

Well the second one is as strong as the first.

I'm afraid of the repetitive thing too. He gets a vessel, he tries to avoid it, confronts the bad guy once and fails, then confronts him a second time and gets him. Lukily it's the situations and jokes that seem to be fresh each episode. I just hope they deviate and try something different.

I checked on IMDB and online, they only mention smith directing the pilot, yet onimdb they have no other director listed, except for Smith.

I searched for it on bit torrent. Frustrates me that I have to do it like that. I don't understand why they present their new shows, then they move stations the following week.

I saw the pilot at comic-con. I enjoyed it, although as you guys have pointed out, there's a possibility it won't work as entire series. Maybe it'll be one of those short, one-season-long, but sweet series. But you never know. I mean, how long was Buffy The Vampire Slayer on?

True. The problem they have is it's too one dimensional at the moment. Each episode is a new baddie. Why not let there be a main baddie? Someone that will last. From there it' endless possibilities. Right now, it leaves little wiggle room for each episode.
